My client is seeking an Employee Relations Advisor for 6 months to join a Group HR Team, to work closely with People Relations Manager.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide advice and support to managers and employees on employee relations matters, including performance issues, misconduct, absence management, and flexible working.
  • Conduct investigations, hearings, and appeals in line with the organisation’s policies and procedures, ensuring fairness and consistency.
  • Support the application of our Absence Management policy by coaching line managers to deliver the necessary actions.
  • Prepare and draft letters, reports, and other documentation related to employee relations cases.
  • Help set up an ER database, monitor trends and data, identify areas for improvement, and recommend solutions to the People Relations Manager.
  • Develop and deliver training and coaching to managers and employees on employee relations topics.
  • Contribute to the review and update of employee relations policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with employment law and best practices.


Requirements:


  • Strong experience in employee relations, with the ability to “hit the ground running.”
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of employment law and best practices in employee relations.
