Overview of Role:

Bidvest Noonan, a renowned facilities management company, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance Administrator for our contract at Imperial College London (ICL). The Finance Administrator will play a key role in financial reporting, budget management, and payroll systems administration to support the financial health of the contract.

Responsibilities:

Financial Analysis:

Support the Commercial Analyst with the review and reporting of financial data.
Conduct financial analysis to understand variances to provide insights for decision-making and operational improvements.

Budget Management:

Support the monitoring, control and financial performance of the site.
Collaborate with department heads to ensure budget adherence and highlight issues as needed.

Payroll:

Administer the daily payroll administration, make payroll adjustments as directed by the management team in line with company policies and hours worked.
Run payroll reports to support the interrogation and understanding of labour costs and hours worked by area, building and team. Provide the detail of core hours versus overtime, where worked, when and what rate applied.

Risk Management:

Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks by monitoring financial indicators, and internal controls.
Update internal records and maintain an organized file system.
Uphold the highest standards of compliance and confidentiality.
General Requirements:

Qualifications and Requirements:

Proven experience in financial administration, analysis, and reporting, preferably in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and reporting.
Proficiency in payroll software, Microsoft Office and advanced MS Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
Excellent analytical and administration skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Good organizational and time-management skills
An aptitude for critical thinking and problem solving.
Carry out any reasonable management request.
Provide general administration support to the ICL account as required by the management team.
Raise purchase orders and place supplier orders as required following the correct authorisation processes.
