Role and responsibilities:

Randstad specialist mentor role starts at the start of the new academic year starting from the 1st September 2024. You will be a trusted advisor for students throughout their academic year by helping students to reflect on their experience and build their confidence through their time at University.

Throughout your role you will be 1-2-1 mentoring your given student and helping them with what is required of them in their academic year. This will include:

  • Listening to your students and getting them through their stress, low mood and anxiety levels.
  • Giving them the confidence to learn independently
  • Develop skills that includes organisational skills and time management
  • Give them new experienced opportunities that will develop them for future roles.

Required:

As this is a specialist role, you must hold membership with one of the below professional bodies. All students you will be supporting are funded by the Disabled Students Allowance (DSA) meaning all candidates providing this role must adhere to the qualification framework set out by the DfE.
