Job Opportunity: CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrist

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Jupiter Recruitment. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing specialized assessment and treatment for children and adolescents with eating disorders and related behavioral or emotional issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor the multidisciplinary team to create a person-centered environment
  • Follow risk assessment and management protocols
  • Manage patient treatment plans in collaboration with the team
  • Conduct psychological assessments and prescribe medication
  • Promote cohesion and communication within the team

Requirements:

  • Recent acute Psychiatry experience
  • Experience in a similar setting with adults aged 18+
  • Approval under Section 12 of the Mental Health Act
  • Ability to lead a multidisciplinary team
  • Knowledge of Mental Health Legislation and risk assessment principles
