Position Overview:Are you a dynamic professional with a talent for communication and a passion for sales? We are looking for an Inside Sales Representative (ISR) to join our team, responsible for maintaining regular engagement with assigned accounts.

In this role, you will understand the unique needs of each customer, creating and presenting tailored solutions. Tasked with driving growth in parts and service revenue and nurturing relationships over the phone, you will establish yourself as a primary point of contact. You'll not only offer advice and support to our customers but also assist with lead generation accounts, embedding yourself as a crucial part of our sales strategy.

Job Description:

Major Job Functions:

  • ISR Accounts – Maintain regular call cycle, build customer relationships, offering relevant products and services, grow account revenue via parts and service sales, ability to sell CSA’s. Promote all channels to purchase i.e. online etc.

  • Lead Generation – Share accounts with field sales reps, maintaining regular call cycle with customer, offering promotions, processing orders and supporting field sales rep as required

  • Incremental Business – Follow up on engineer’s service reports, quoting remedial repairs and generally other revenue generating streams

  • Personal Development – Attend regional meetings, visit own customer base, customer visits with field sales reps (overnight stays may be required) to aid ISR to progress into field sales role

Knowledge:

  • Experience within a sales environment would be an advantage

  • Telesales experience is desirable

  • Good PC skills is essential, with ability to learn new systems

  • Previous experience with CRM

  • Full clean driving license.

Accountability:

  • Manage an existing regional customer database of circa 400 customers via telephone

  • Maintain CRM and develop customer/Finning relationship

  • Lead generation for allocated field account managers accounts

  • Follow up on incremental business

  • Active promotion of marketing campaigns, promotions and events

  • Effective maintenance relating to call cycles

  • Planning of repeat calls to accommodate customer requirements

  • Maintain accurate account details and machine population with own account database to aid marketing initiatives

  • Manage all online leads/inbound calls on a daily basis

  • Develop strong relationships with prospect and assigned customers

  • Connect with key decision makers

  • Promote all aspects of Finning; from parts and service through to CSAs

  • Become the account manager for the customer

  • Recommend Finning support services relevant to their needs and provide the customer with the best solution
