Our client is a family run business, with an amazing product and a customer centric approach.  They have stores in the UK and a rapidly growing online, International and concessions business. They really care about people, customers, and the communities in which they trade and are now looking for a CRM Executive.  The role will be based out of their Amersham Head office, with six days per month home working. 

As their CRM Executive, you’ll own the day-to-day operation of the email channel for two leading brands. Working with a range of stakeholders in the marketing, trading, and online teams and under the direction of the Digital Marketing Manager, you'll use your knowledge of CRM to drive customer engagement via timely, personalised, and relevant communications.  With a commercial mindset, you will know what good looks like when it comes to CRM and email marketing, with the confidence to bring fresh ideas to the table that will persuade more people to choose to buy from their much-loved brands.

CRM Executive – Responsibilities

- Devise, maintain and adapt an email schedule designed to help the business achieve online sales, customer engagement and overall growth goals.

- Create compelling email content for a range of audiences.

- Analyse performance and report on success and learnings during trading sessions.

- Ensure accuracy and relevancy of communications and maintain health of the current CRM/ platform Emarsys.

- Identify areas of improvement with content, ways of working, data & technical development.

- Manage 3rd party relationships with external agencies to drive performance and continuously improve the channels.

- Ensure CRM fully supports brand and commercial initiatives and is GDPR compliant.

- Identify and keep your finger on the pulse across trends and opportunities, utilising and building on them, to drive future campaigns.

- Manage stakeholder expectations to ensure success of email as a channel.

- Support with artwork briefing and execution with suppliers/internal teams.

CRM Executive – Required Skills

- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel & PowerPoint.

- Potential to manage, lead, develop and coach a junior team member.

- Full UK, valid driver’s licence.

- Good knowledge of CRM/email marketing tools.

- Working knowledge of analytics packages (Google/Adobe).

- Previous user of graphic design software (Illustrator/Photoshop).

- Ability to manage multiple workstreams, priority planning.

- 2-3 years' experience in a similar role, ideally within a retail business.

- Previous experience working with agencies and solutions providers.

- Experience of working alongside affiliate marketing and paid search managers.

- Degree-level qualification or equivalent.

The CRM Executive role offers the chance to add immediate value with your skillset in a rapidly growing and evolving business.  It will also provide the opportunity to lead, and mentor a junior team.
