We are seeking a Theatre Instructor/Technician to join our Performing Arts Team at our Stratford upon Avon Campus. You will be responsible for the maintenance and efficient running of the theatres, rehearsal rooms and creative spaces. You will assist students through the demonstration of advanced technical processes in sound, lighting, AV and set construction, and also supervise areas during independent study sessions. You will also be required to provide support in theatre production and live performances including support of the event along with set up and pack down.You will be a good team member, self-motivated and possess good broad-based technical skills in lighting, AV and sound for live events. Technician support experience within a school, college or university would be advantageous. Professional experience working in the theatre or live event industry is desirable. Candidates should also hold a relevant creative arts qualification up to level HNC/D or equivalent.Full time and part time applications will be considered.Please note if you are selected for the next stage in the process, you will be required to attend the College’s premises, unless exceptional circumstances apply.Solihull College & University Centre is committed to ensuring a safe environment for all students and expects all staff to engage fully with this commitment
