We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Sound Department as an Apprentice Sound Technician. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to develop their skills and knowledge in sound technology within a world-renowned theatre company.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the programming and operation of sound equipment for live performances and events
- Contribute to the maintenance and repair of sound equipment, ensuring it is in good working order
- Develop and maintain plots and backups of shows, ensuring seamless transitions between performances
- Work collaboratively with the Sound Department to deliver high-quality sound experiences for audiences
- 20% dedicated training time, including in-house training and external supplier training
- A dedicated apprenticeship mentor to support your learning and development
- The opportunity to shadow other departments to expand your knowledge of theatre craft
- Basic knowledge or interest in sound technology
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends
- Commitment to incorporated qualifications, such as Maths and English functional skills
