Here at Live, we design, build and create entertainment concepts for the cruise & ferry industry, and our hotel resort travel and tourism partners. We provide full turn-key services to our clients that incorporate live production and animation, as well as recruitment, training, creative consultancy and account management; all within the entertainment industry.
About The Role
As a Cruise Recruitment Executive, you will support the Cruise Recruitment Manager in sourcing and hiring qualified personnel for our cruise line operations. This role is crucial in identifying talented individuals who will contribute to our onboard teams' success. You will engage with candidates, coordinate recruitment activities, and assist in maintaining a robust pipeline of prospective crew members.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and implementing recruitment strategies to attract and hire suitable candidates for various roles onboard our client’s cruise ships.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess candidates' qualifications and fit for specific positions.
- Coordinate recruitment events, including job fairs, recruitment drives, and interviews, both in-person and virtually.
- Maintain candidate databases and applicant tracking systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date candidate information.
- Communicate effectively with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing updates and gathering necessary documentation.
- Support the onboard recruitment team in preparing documentation for new hires and facilitating pre-employment and mandatory certification checks.
- Collaborate with department heads and crewing agents to understand staffing needs and priorities.
- Assist in the creation of job descriptions, job postings, and recruitment materials.
- Participate in the evaluation and improvement of recruitment processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay informed about industry trends, recruitment best practices, and regulatory requirements related to maritime employment.
