Bennett and Game are proud to be working on behalf of a family run Freight firm actively seeking a proven Business Development Manager to join their team in the Hampshire location.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior BDM to embed themselves into a business that put their staff first. They are looking for someone to be more than a BDM and put in place sales strategise, work in partnership with the Directors and really take the business to the next level.

Business Development Manager Job Overview
  • Develop new business opportunities by upselling the company's specialist freight, customs, haulage and warehouse services
  • Maintain and expand pre-existing relationships - Account Management
  • Plan with Directors on new sales strategies for the business and oversee the commercial movement of the business
Business Development Manager Job Requirements
  • Proven New Business Sales in multi-modal freight
  • Knowledge of FMCG / Fresh Food & Drink Distribution
  • Experience in implementing new Sales strategies
  • Experience in Pallet distribution
Business Development Manager Salary & Benefits
  • Basic Salary £45-60k
  • Competitive Commission / Bonus Structure on top of salary
  • Car or car allowance (candidates preference)
  • Flexible working pattern
  • Great progression into senior leadership / directorship
