Job DescriptionEquifind have teamed up with an established financial services firm who are looking to add a CASS analyst to the team to cover for the next 6-12 months.The business has been a brand name for years in the investment banking space and they have a great working culture. Its highly professional and collaborative.Key duties and responsibilities for this CASS analyst position include:Performing reconciliations for cash and assetsPerforming daily CASS calculationsMonthly preparation of the CMAR submissionUndertake CASS administrative tasks; performing due diligence of client money banks and challenge the business processes/controls and be able to document them back to the CASS rule bookCoordinate the CASS audit - Provide MI to CASS stakeholders and contribute to the delivery of timely and accurate reporting to regulators and the firms boardEnsure CASS policies are reviewed and updated in a timely mannerBe involved with projects that have CASS impact and support the compliance function with responses to consultations and implement the necessary changes to CASS policies procedures process and systemsOther duties as and when assigned by senior managementExperience & QualificationsStrong CASS technical knowledge and experience in a SME environmentShow a strong background/knowledge of the CASS sourcebook especially CASS rules 6 7 & 8A financial services background with a MUST with ideally Investment Management Audit or Banking experienceDirect CASS project experienceBe a self-starter and a problem solver with experience managing multiple workstreams at the same timeHave a proactive approach to your work and strong stakeholder management skillAbout the businessAn established investment bank that has a great name in the market. The business interacts with customers and clients all over the world and has been growing from strength to strength recently.With multiple offices across the UK and Europe you will be joining a business that is still expanding and looking to evolve.You will support the CASS Manager with all CASS and client money daily duties for the London office and be a real team player from the off.Salary/RatesThis exciting opportunity for a CASS analyst will ideally start within the next couple of weeks and has scope to be made permanent if proves a success.Ideally we are looking at candidates on no more than 4 weeks notice.We will be looking at candidates on a FTC of 45k-55k and this opportunity will be based in the office 4 days per week with Friday being a WFH designated day.Required Experience:Junior IC Key Skills Business Development,Anti Money Laundering,Accounts Reconciliation,Landscaping,CNC,Communication Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
