Our client is a well known entity in the transport and distribution sector. They offer nationwide logistics and supply chain solutions from their base in Wiltshire, England.

Description

  • Reconciliation and Reporting: Maintain up-to-date reconciliations and meet statutory reporting deadlines.
  • Collaboration: Enhance and maintain the relationship with the payroll team.
  • Accuracy: Ensure the accuracy of general ledger payroll transactions.
  • Year-End Support: Assist in producing year-end statutory reports and preparing annual insurance exposure data.
  • Audit Support: Aid the Financial Services Manager with half-yearly and yearly audit requirements.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement areas for continued improvement.
  • Documentation: Ensure operating procedures are available and current.

Profile

The successful Payroll Accountant should have:

  • Experienced with balance sheet reconciliations
  • Good knowledge of HMRC payroll legislations and statutory payments.
  • Proficiency in payroll systems and software.
  • Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Good knowledge of payroll legislation and statutory payments.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • An ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
