About the Role: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Client Administrator to join our Operations team in London. In this role, you will support a variety of administrative duties, including document screening, account opening, deceased account processing, handling technical queries, and participating in ad hoc projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Client On-Boarding:
- Screen anti-money laundering (AML) documentation for various account types, including GIA, ISAs, Pensions, OPBs, and Trusts.
- Validate documents such as cheques and W-8 forms.
- Manage account opening processes and continuously monitor pending accounts.
- Address all internal and external Client On-Boarding queries within agreed service levels.
Client Administration:
- Administer deceased accounts, including requesting probate valuations.
- Handle account closures, including calculating and deducting closing fees.
- Allocate valid W-8 forms to accounts and chase expired documentation.
- Periodically review provider signatory lists.
- Perform all types of static data amendments.
- Process client and provider payments, initial ISA subscriptions, internal client journals, and set up regular payments, standing orders, and income sweeps.
- Deduct ad hoc charges such as custody, financial adviser, management, and valuation fees.
- Address all client administration and internal/external queries within agreed service levels.
- Build and maintain a working knowledge of the Raymond James operating environment.
General:
- Ensure accurate controls and records are maintained.
- Monitor work levels and the group mailbox to ensure all items are processed within agreed service standards.
- Maintain and review robust departmental procedure manuals.
- Stay updated on regulatory and industry developments through reading and attending relevant seminars.
- Assist with the transition of new offices.
- Participate in ad hoc projects and other duties as assigned.
