Description

Oxford Economics, a leading global economic and research consultancy firm, is looking to hire a highly motivated and ambitious sales professional to drive subscription sales across European real estate. The role is responsible for generating new subscription business across the territory through a mixture of cold outreach, warm leads, demos & presentations, attending events and networking, plus an expectation of the successful candidate having existing relationships in place.

Target firms include Investment Managers, Real Estate Advisory Firms, Developers, Lenders, Pension Funds, Family offices, and Private Equity. This position will be an integral part of Oxford’s growth plans for EMEA and is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing company at the forefront of the industry.


Key Responsibilities - Sales
  • Growing the subscription book of business through new sales and upsells.
  • Creating new sales & marketing strategies to successfully reach new opportunities.
  • Responsible for the full sales cycle.
  • Out-bound calls, emails, marketing campaigns, incoming enquiries & leveraging existing relationships.
  • Evaluating a clients’ needs & prepare a solution-oriented approach.
  • Work closely with the European client team on leveraging existing relationships for further growth.
  • Attend industry events to build relationships and stay up to date with latest trends.
  • Liaise with the wider global RE BD team to identify new cross-border sales opportunities.

Internal Communication
  • Work closely with your line manager & the Global Head of RE developing new sales opportunities.
  • Manage pipeline and report on new leads and opportunities using Salesforce.
  • Work with the global real estate sales and product team to communicate opportunities & challenges.
  • Continually present on market conditions and product feedback to suggest areas for improvement.

Skills & Experience

Required

  • Existing contacts within European real estate firms.
  • Experience selling data & information services within the institutional real estate sector.
  • A proven, demonstrable sales track record, with at least 5 years of direct end-to-end sales experience.
  • Technical skills to understand and propose products or solutions by focusing on the client’s requirements.
  • Experience of selling in a B2B environment.
  • A degree from a recognized university.
  • Must be highly organized and able to manage multiple projects at once.
  • Salesforce, SalesLoft, LinkedIn experience.
  • Fluent in English, and German or French.
  • Self-starter, with the drive to set and reach ambitious goals.

Desired

  • Research or economic sales experience.
  • Phone and web-based sales experience along with face-to-face selling.
  • Experience selling to international markets across EMEA is an advantage.
  • Candidate must have strong presentation and writing skills.
  • Must have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Team player.
