A leading architecture practice based in Clerkenwell is hiring for an Architect at Associate Director level with proven experience within the healthcare, lab, science, education and/or later living sector. The salary offered will be based upon experience, and is flexible for candidates with extensive business development experience within relevant typologies that the practice specialises in.
Only candidates with a background and training in architecture and/or construction and proven business development experience will be considered.

As an Associate Director, you’ll be at the forefront of delivering innovative, technically complex projects while shaping the studio’s strategic direction. Lead the design and delivery of UK healthcare, education, science, labs and mixed use projects
Spearhead business development efforts, securing new opportunities and expanding the studio’s reach within the above sectors
Manage relationships with clients, contractors, and design teams
Oversee project performance, managing budgets, timelines, and resources to exceed expectations
Mentor and inspire multiple project teams, fostering a collaborative working environment
Willingness for occasional travel across the UK

Proven experience in leading complex projects from concept to completion
Expertise in healthcare, science, and education sectors, with a deep understanding of technical requirements

Proficiency in ArchiCAD highly desirable, although training is provided
