Associate Director of Safeguarding and School Improvement at a growing education consultancy.


Overview:

As Incyte Educational Consultancy continues to grow, we are expanding our senior management team. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join the team as an Associate Director of Safeguarding and School Improvement. This senior role will report to the Managing Director for Safeguarding and the Managing Director for School Improvement, and will have the key responsibility of supporting the team in our safeguarding and school improvement business.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Maintain and develop all associated client relationships.
  • Ensure client needs are met by customizing Incyte's products and services to their specific requirements.


  • Team and Project Management:
  • Lead and manage a team of consultants, including project planning and staffing.
  • Support the quality assurance for all consultant-led reviews and reports.
  • Support with the recruitment, screening, and training of new consultants to join Incyte.


  • Business Development:
  • Support the implementation of a plan to grow the volume of business for both safeguarding and school improvement divisions, in collaboration with the Managing Directors.
  • Assist in putting together bids and proposals with support from the Managing Directors.


  • Direct Contribution:
  • Dedicate 20% of time to hands-on safeguarding and school improvement work to keep products and policies relevant and up-to-date.


  • Regulatory Compliance:
  • Keep up to date with changing regulations in the UK and key international markets, particularly changes to the KCSIE guidance.


  • Representation and Travel:
  • Ability to travel nationally and internationally.
  • Represent Incyte at key conferences and events, both domestically and internationally.
  • Travel internationally as required to meet clients and attend conferences.

  • Proven experience in a senior role related to safeguarding and school improvement.
  • Experience in business development and proposal writing.
  • Advisory and inspection roles.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Total compensation is designed to be competitive and reward personal and company growth and will consist of:
  • Salary: Competitive basic salary.
  • Bonus: Performance-based bonus (comprising personal and company performance components).

  • Work Environment: Remote, with occasional attendance at offices in Bath or London
