Trading Manager - Telecommunications - Permanent - Onsite Canary Wharf

About the Role:

In this exciting role, you'll be responsible for maximising the commercial performance of products and services within the telecoms space. You'll play a pivotal role in developing and implementing profitable trading strategies, ensuring we secure the best possible deals for our company.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute effective trading strategies to drive sales and revenue growth
  • Negotiate and secure contracts with carriers, vendors, and other industry partners.
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of the trading lifecycle, from deal origination to execution and settlement.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify new trading opportunities.
  • Monitor and manage trading risks, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business.
  • Lead and mentor a team of trading professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.


Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in Trading/Sales Management, ideally in telecoms or retial
  • Strong understanding of telecoms market dynamics, pricing models, and network infrastructure.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement successful trading strategies.
  • A keen eye for detail and a strong analytical mind.
  • Excellent commercial acumen and a focus on achieving profitable outcomes.
  • Experience in managing a team and fostering a high-performing environment (desirable).
  • Proficiency in relevant trading software and data analysis tools (desirable).
