Job Purpose

  • Leading audits from planning through to completion.
  • Accounts preparation for non-audit clients.
  • Reviewing work prepared by junior staff members.
  • Involvement in the management of a portfolio of clients, from resource planning to WIP and budget management.
  • Work closely with clients to build trusted relationships, being the go-to for support.
  • Confidently present work to Managers, completing files to a high standard.
  • Underpin audit and accounts matters with current legislation and compliance.
  • Handle compliance queries from clients.
  • Assist with pitching to new clients and attending networking opportunities, championing new business for the firm.
  • Mentor and support new trainees, supporting with their learning and development.
  • Set an example for the team.
