They are recruiting an experienced Bid writer to become an important part of their continued success and growth.


THE ROLE

Our client is looking for a Bid Writer to support the business travel teams by writing persuasive bids, tenders and proposals in order to secure and retain business. The Bid Writer who will preferably have travel industry knowledge must have experience in delivering high quality written work, a close eye for detail and manage multiple workloads

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering high quality written work to deadline.
  • Develop customised responses, documents and sales pitches, that communicate value proposition, for proposal and competitive sales engagements (RFP, RFQ, RFI).
  • Take responsibility for proposal and document management from conception to final delivery ensuring that bid propositions are accurate and correctly proofed.
  • Provide high quality assistance with all sales support materials, including but not limited to, ad hoc presentations and technical samples.
  • Assist the EMEA Sales Support team in maintaining high quality databases and resource material

You will be a dynamic individual who is driven and has the ability to manage a varied and busy workload to aid growth within the company.

Essential skill and qualifications include:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal comprehension.
  • Key attention to detail to create compelling copy within company voice, tone and style guidelines.
  • Experience with Office suite and Adobe Creative Suite with a key focus on Acrobat, InDesign and Photoshop is an advantage.
  • Exception critical thinking ability and time management skills to support multiple projects.
