Position Overview:
This role involves collaboration with the Bid Manager to provide essential guidance and assistance in the creation of bids and proposals.
The ideal candidate will possess strong IT skills, particularly in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, InDesign, and Photoshop.
Exceptional verbal, written, and numerical abilities are essential.
Proposal Development:
Responsible for the comprehensive preparation of pre-qualification submissions.
Thoroughly reviews bid requirements and deliverables.
Facilitates question review sessions with the team, identifying unique selling points (USPs).
Engages in bid writing for each project.
Edits contributions from team members.
Creates complete proposal documents, incorporating graphics as necessary.
Takes ownership of the timely completion and submission of all pre-qualification questionnaires and bids.
Business Development:
Oversees the planning of opportunities and pre-qualification questionnaires, including the organization and storage of information in the document management system.
Conducts research on clients and consultants to support the team.
Initiates contact with client consultants as needed.
Coordinates functions and events to enhance business development.
Manages the pipeline using the designated system.
Prepares presentation materials for meetings as required.
Monitors opportunity tracking for the Bid Manager.
Marketing Initiatives:
Collaborates with project teams to maximize public relations opportunities.
Works with the PR agency to manage publicity efforts.
Drafts press releases and compiles necessary information.
Supports sites with public relations or marketing events.
Organizes photography as needed.
Gathers information on new and ongoing projects for project profiles and develops case studies as required.
Ensures site branding meets established standards.
Produces necessary documentation for distribution.
Database Management:
Establishes and maintains the proposals database.
Collaborates with other offices to gain insights into the business for proposal purposes.
Identifies key contacts in each region to assist in proposal production.
Provides standardized information for submissions.
