About the Organisation
Our client helps hospitals do more through grants, arts, volunteering, and fundraising.
They are now looking for a Volunteering Officer to join them on a full-time, fixed-term basis for 12 months, working 35 hours per week.

The Role
As a Volunteering Officer, you will oversee key aspects of the volunteer journey, from recruitment and onboarding to managing relationships and systems that support our client’s work.
Specifically, you will serve as the primary contact for prospective volunteers and those connecting with the organisation, creating a welcoming experience while fostering strong relationships with hospital staff, volunteers, and community partners alike.
Working closely with the Volunteering Manager, you will help create impactful volunteering opportunities that benefit both the volunteers and beneficiaries, while also delivering essential administrative support to keep operations running efficiently.
Additionally, you will:
- Manage systems that track volunteer activities and contributions
- Establish links with local communities to attract volunteers
About You
To be considered as a Volunteering Officer, you will need:
- Experience in co-ordinating or managing volunteers or staff
- The ability to build relationships with a diverse range of people
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems
