About the Role

The Volunteering Officer will oversee key aspects of the volunteer journey, from recruitment and onboarding to managing relationships and systems that support our client's work.

This involves serving as the primary contact for prospective volunteers and those connecting with the organisation, creating a welcoming experience while fostering strong relationships with hospital staff, volunteers, and community partners alike.

Working closely with the Volunteering Manager, the successful candidate will help create impactful volunteering opportunities that benefit both the volunteers and beneficiaries, while also delivering essential administrative support to keep operations running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage systems that track volunteer activities and contributions
  • Establish links with local communities to attract volunteers

Requirements:

  • Experience in co-ordinating or managing volunteers or staff
  • The ability to build relationships with a diverse range of people
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems
