RELOcruitment are delighted to be working alongside an award-winning Removals & Storage Firm. They provide professional removals and storage solutions all over the globe.
They are now looking for a Business Development Executive to join their busy team based in Hertfordshire.
Sales experience is essential, preferably within the removals or logistics sector.
The main purpose of the role is to identify and create opportunities with prospects and customers, enabling the sales team to provide quotes for existing or newly launched services.
You will also be required to contact prospective clients via telephone, email & LinkedIn to generate new business.
Responsibilities:
• Pro-actively contact all allocated brought in sales leads within the timelines set.
• Respond professionally to all incoming enquiries be they through Live Chat / Web or Phone.
• Input all activities including calls/appointments and tasks into the CRM system.
• Through questioning, clarify the customers buying criteria and requirements.
• Where appropriate, price bounce to gauge customer reaction and estimated budget.
• Introduce affiliate services where appropriate.
• Where requested to do so, follow up all enquiries to conclusion and maintain records in the CRM.
• Input and assist in any data entry tasks as needed.
• Assist in general administrative duties as and when required.
• To accompany consultants and attend events when appropriate.
KPI’S:
• Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual appointment / opportunity targets
• Consistently capture all the necessary information required for the appointment to ensure both the salesperson and the customer’s expectations are aligned.
• Input and manage all information and activity through the CRM system.
• Achieve pre-agreed numbers of weekly / monthly sales activities.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
• Previous tele-marketing or sales experience.
• Good negotiating and influencing skills.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• PC literate (Good with Word / Excel).
• Ability to build alliances and maintain relationships.
• Ability to understand both customer and competitive environment.
• Good networking skills.
• Commercial awareness / attention to detail.
• Consultative Skills – understanding customer requirements and competitive environment.
• Selling skills and concepts, Influencing, listening, questioning, negotiating and gaining commitment.
