Role Overview: We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented Business Development Manager to spearhead our growth initiatives within the manned guarding sector. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, cultivating client relationships, and driving sales strategies to achieve our revenue targets. Your expertise will help us expand our market presence and strengthen our position as a leader in the security industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the manned guarding sector, including potential clients, strategic partnerships, and market expansion.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders. Understand their security needs and provide tailored solutions to meet those needs.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans to achieve and exceed sales targets. Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Proposal and Tender Management: Prepare and present proposals, bids, and tenders to prospective clients. Ensure all submissions are competitive and align with client requirements.
  • Market Analysis: Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to stay informed and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including operations and security personnel, to ensure smooth implementation of contracts and client satisfaction.
  • Reporting: Track and report on sales performance, pipeline status, and business development activities. Provide regular updates to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development or sales within the manned guarding or security sector.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of the manned guarding industry and its trends. Excellent sales, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Education: Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Attributes: Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
