Leyland, United Kingdom The Navigator Company Full time

Permanent - Full Time - 37.5 hours per week (Monday - Friday)

If you currently work in a continuous improvement role and are looking for the next chapter in your manufacturing career, we would love to hear from you

Here at Navigator Tissue UK, previously known as Accrol, we have a unique opportunity to join our Leyland team as Continuous Improvement Manager.

About the role

Reporting to the Operations Director, you will project manage all continuous improvement activities within standard framework to engage all employees, drive a culture change and ultimately result in World Class Standards across the site. Always championing a 'safety-first’ approach, you will put in place effective processes to improve factory performance and always hold the gains.

Working closely with the Operations Manager and wider team, you will identify improvement opportunities through data analysis and standard lean tools (VSM, 5S, Problem Solving, SIC, visual management standards) in addition to providing monthly reports of current improvement opportunities to demonstrate how progression has been made.

About you

As our Continuous Improvement Manager, you must have significant experience within a manufacturing environment, ideally in a continuous improvement role or able to evidence working in process development within a similar setting. We would particularly like to hear from those who hold the following qualifications:

  • WCM White Cap.
  • Lean Practitioner.
  • Six Sigma Black Belt (or similar).
  • CI / WCM formal training.

An individual who believes in 'lead by example’, you will be a people person with a positive attitude and strong communication and organisational skills. Customer focused, diligent and analytical, you will set high standards of performance and will take accountability for results, naturally motivated to deliver.
