ARC are a JV partnership between SCAPE and Nottinghamshire County Council with a focus on delivering property and development services across Nottinghamshire.


To accompany the existing compliance side of Estates Management, the business is in the process of adding extra functionality in the form of professional Estates Management, with the partnership creating an RICS practice for the first time. This will be a valuations and development management practice - not just local government valuations, but also managing capital receipts programmes and land development.


The role will be to head up, lead and develop this new area and as such, we are looking for someone who can demonstrate leadership in a chartered practice and is experienced in dealing with public sector estates - understanding the sensitivities of local government property management. With the new East Midlands Combined Authority, there will be a great deal of development in the region over the next few years and the wider picture will be to position ARC as the first choice in terms of leadership in that space. This is very much the beginning of a longer journey.


Aside from the internal management skills, we are looking for someone who is comfortable communicating with clients and able to hold their own with developers, land owners and the like.
