Our Client

Autograph Recruitment is delighted to be working with an established, construction business, based near Chepstow. As our client continue to grow, they are now looking for a Finance & Office Manager to join them.

The successful candidate will play a vital part in maintaining the financial accuracy of the business by processing transactions, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

This is a great opportunity for a local candidate to become a key part of in a family feel business.

Responsibilities of Finance & Office Manager:

  • Process financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable
  • Process payroll and CIS statements via Sage
  • Raising sales invoices and statements
  • Reconcile bank statements and identify discrepancies
  • Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
  • Prepare tax returns and submit VAT
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
  • Support senior management team with administration duties
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and reports
  • Preparing month end

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Ideally AAT qualified or equally qualified by experience within a similar role
  • Familiar with using Sage software
  • Knowledge of CIS
  • Planning and organisational abilities, able to prioritise workload accordingly and work to deadlines timely
  • Ability to implement and improve processes
  • Proficient across Microsoft platforms, Excel in particular
  • A key team player who can engage and develop strong relationships
