Job Description:

NetMind.AI is seeking an Operations Lead to spearhead our key operational functions, embodying the dual role of overseeing HR management and operational excellence. This pivotal position calls for a dynamic and proactive leader, dedicated to optimizing our operational framework, nurturing a vibrant work culture, and driving employee engagement and performance. The ideal candidate will possess a strategic mindset, with the agility to navigate both high-level strategic planning and hands-on operational tasks. This role is perfect for a visionary leader who thrives on fostering a culture of excellence and innovation. You'll work closely with our AI research scientists and engineers, you can leverage AI technologies to support and enhance various operational functions. Your strategic insight and hands-on approach will ensure our operations are not just efficient, but also aligned with our goal of AGI development.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Operations Management & Strategy Implementation: Lead operational strategy execution, setting goals, improving processes, and enhancing overall efficiency.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Direct and support the operations team, fostering a culture of growth, collaboration, and high performance through regular feedback and development opportunities.
  • Process Optimization & Efficiency: Analyze and refine operational processes to eliminate inefficiencies, reduce costs, and improve quality, employing lean methodologies for continuous improvement.
  • Project Management: Manage key operational projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget, and utilizing project management tools for tracking and reporting.
  • Interdepartmental Coordination: Serve as a key liaison between operations and other departments, aligning operational plans with broader business objectives and facilitating cross-functional collaboration.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Utilize operational data to inform decisions, track performance against goals, and report on key metrics to stakeholders.
  • Compliance & Quality Control: Ensure operations comply with legal and regulatory standards, maintaining high-quality outputs through stringent quality control processes.
  • Supplier and Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners and suppliers, negotiating favourable terms and monitoring performance to meet operational needs.
  • Change Management: Lead change initiatives, effectively communicating changes and managing the adaptation process within the operations team.
  • Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of innovation, encouraging the exploration of new ideas and technologies to enhance operational efficiency and competitiveness.
  • Human Resources Management: Directly handle all HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, training, development strategies, and employee relations. Develop and implement HR policies that promote a healthy work culture and support the company’s goals.
  • Company Policy: Develop, implement, and review company policies. Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Workspace Management: Create and maintain a productive, safe, and engaging workspace. Oversee facilities management, including space planning, maintenance, and workplace safety.
  • Employee Performance and Engagement: Develop and manage performance evaluation processes that align with company objectives. Cultivate a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and strong employee engagement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ensure operational cohesiveness across various departments and support the implementation of company-wide initiatives.
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to strategic planning, including setting operational and HR-related goals, budgeting, and forecasting to support the company's growth and efficiency objectives.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, HR, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years, prefer 10+ years of experience in operations and HR management
  • Comprehensive understanding of Operation and HR functions, including labour laws, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and manage a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively managing relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to improve operational processes and workplace efficiency.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Highly self-motivated and able to perform without continuous supervision and able to work as part of a diverse team.
  • Prefer bilingual English and Chinese
