This is an excellent opportunity to break into the world of Business Development, as on this RARE OCCASION we do not require specific field based experience. All we ask is that you have a strong sales background within the Bridging or Buy to Let sector.

With one of the strongest offerings on the market, our client are already one of the biggest lenders within the specialist industry, which makes the job MUCH easier The existing team are highly experienced, friendly, and passionate about what they do, so we are looking for someone to slot right in to this wonderful dynamic.

You will be working closely with the Head of Sales for the South, who will be handing you the majority of their existing contacts, and you will be required to pick up and nurture those relationships. As a Field based Business Development Manager, you will be required to cover a designated postcode region, so it is ESSENTIAL that you have a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

The patch is South London, including parts of the South Coast (OX/RG/SL/UB/TW/SW/KT/SO/GU/RH/PO/BH) please note- you MUST live on patch.

Who is our ideal Field Based Business Development Manager?

  • An experienced Salesperson, within the Bridging or Buy to Let space, with the ability to work pro-actively within a time sensitive environment
  • A relationship driven individual who has the ability to build strong relationships, as well as look for opportunities and add value in their interactions with brokers & intermediaries
  • Experience within EITHER the Buy to Let OR Bridging space is required, however you DO NOT NEED FIELD BASED EXPERIENCE
  • As a Field based Business Development Manager, you will need to be organized, confident, influential and ambitious.

What can you expect in the day to day role as Field Based Business Development Manager?

  • Creating & developing meaningful relationships with introducers, who will be relying on you to advise them on products and criteria, helping them successfully place their Bridging & Buy to Let cases
  • Supporting the team with sales events and expos, including presenting to teams of intermediaries on behalf of the lender
  • Identifying new accounts to grow and nurturing existing relationships that have been handed over from the Head of Sales
  • 4 days on the road per week, with a weekly meeting target of 12 to 16 and one day working remotely from home
  • Daily use of the CRM system, helping you manage and follow up any leads
  • Effectively increase the presence of the business within the Mortgage Industry
