The Head of Payments is a long standing client of CassonX, and we know that he is an excellent leader of staff, processes and change. We are truly excited to be recruiting for this company.

To be considered for this role, CassonX are looking for someone who has held a senior role in Banking or FinTech firm, with speciality to Payments. You should have knowledge of various types of payments, including SWIFT, CHAPS, BACS, FP and SEPA, and ideally you would have at least Supervised a small team of staff so as they grow you can take on more responsibility. Coupled with knowledge of the clearing and settlement cycles for UK domestic payment schemes, and an understanding of PSR/PSD2 rules, knowledge of the FCA requirements / risks and examples of process enhancements / automations / driving change are distinctly advantageous. Familiarity with working with Payment Services Providers or partnerships with banks will help you through the interview process, and CassonX will prioritise those who have worked in a high-growth company. This hybrid role is based in the City of London, but during the first month you will be required to travel to Cambridgeshire twice a week for training. This role will see you directly the support the Head of Payments and it is encouraged for you to share ideas to create the most efficient and automated Payments Operations function. You will supervise a very small team of payments processors who instruct payments for their clients and partner banks.
