Role Overview


The role will play a key part in driving the growth of Safetykleen UK&I reporting to the Head of FP&A and supporting the Business Development Director and Commercial Director with commercial sales and marketing effectiveness insights, opportunities and plans to deliver the growth targets.


You will become a trusted partner to the leadership team as well as integrate into the commercial teams to provide insight and commercial challenge to drive forward go-to-market business performance with a customer first focus.

Key Responsibilities


  • GTM Budgeting & Forecasting : Manage UK&I sales budgets, including materials, headcount, and marketing costs.
  • P&L Management : Identify risks and opportunities, providing actionable plans to enhance sales and marketing KPIs.
  • Business Partnering : Collaborate with Business Development and Commercial Directors to ensure targets are met and profitability optimised.
  • Profitability Analysis : Assess new placements to enhance customer satisfaction & sales.
  • Marketing Effectiveness : Analyse marketing efforts to inform inbound lead generation investments for growth.
  • Pricing Strategy : Conduct pricing analysis for existing and new customers, maintaining updated price lists.
  • Client Profitability Focus : Prioritise decisions based on client-level profitability to boost retention.
  • Insight Packs & Presentations : Produce monthly reports and presentations to inform leadership.
  • Reporting Tools : Develop and automate dashboards for real-time KPI analysis, supporting data-driven decisions.

Baseline Experience & Qualifications


  • 2-4 years PQE (ACA/CIMA/ACCA).
  • Fast paced industry experience such as Retail, FMCG or B2B Services in a high growth environment.
  • Previous experience in FP&A and or Business Partnering essential.

  • Technically proficient: Advanced excel skills required, strong PowerPoint presentation skills and able to quickly pick up Microsoft CRM. Power BI experience a plus, but the ability to build visualisations and dashboards in collaboration with the Data team is required. Training will be available in this area, but an aptitude to drive use of technology to provide standard reports in the role is essential.
