Royal Mail are on the lookout for an Admin assistant to join the teamThe purpose of the role will be to provide professional, general administrative support and services to internal and/or external customers for MK Repair Hub & Stores. The role embraces all general administrative and support activities, which will enable the operational, or customer requirements to run smoothly.Job Title: Administration AssistantContract: TemporaryWeekly Hours: 20.0Pay Rate: £11.53 per hourShift Pattern:  Mon-Fri 09:00-13:00Key Tasks and responsibilities
  • Dealing post, both in and out
  • Identify and escalate H & S concerns.
  • Co-ordinate room bookings
  • Maintain information and reports
  • Collate and communicate Customer Reporting
  • Ordering of stationary, parts required in the warehouse
  • Maintaining records
  • Manage email inboxes
  • Scanning for electronic filing system
  • Administrate changes and updates to notice boards as requested
  • Fault reporting to helpdesk as required
  • Laise with visitors as required, direct to designated/required areas
  • Support control of access barriers and doors as required including direction of vehicle movements/ delegation of duties as required

  • Professional telephone manner
  • PC literate including Word and Excel
  • Attention to detail to ensure consistency and accuracy
  • Basic knowledge of systems/processes
  • Self-motivated
  • Have the confidence to deal with a wide range of both customers and internal staff
  • Act as a role model for safety, setting positive examples to peers
  • Keeps customers informed on progress and outcomes
  • Approaches challenging goals with enthusiasm
