Human Resources Generalist

The ideal candidate will be responsible for recruitment efforts, new hire orientation and onboarding, employee termination, payroll and benefits, company policy and procedure adherence. In addition, you will build strong relationships with our company's managers in order to help them with their human resource needs.
Responsibilities
- Providing an efficient first line recruitment service in line with the company expectations and procedures taking part in interviews and ensuring a fair and consistent process is maintained across the business.
- Offering first line support and guidance on employee relations matters i.e. sickness and absence, disciplinary process, performance management issues – this support should be using relevant UK employment law knowledge.
- Administering and maintaining the HR database and personnel files including the adding and removing of employees in a timely fashion ensuring that the information we hold is current and up to date.
- Administering and maintaining the company Intranet and Intranet files.
- Drafting of HR documentations including contracts, contract variations, and other HR correspondence and ensure filing of such documents in the HRM system.
- Conducting onboarding HR induction and exit interviews to provide the business with relevant information.
- Carrying out induction and onboarding training for all new employees.
- Supporting the administration of the competency scheme including updating of all personnel files with documentation provided by the business managers.
- Producing relevant monthly information and ensuring it is submitted on time relating to payroll, pensions and benefits.
- Providing a ‘reminder service’ to the business to ensure that the relevant processes are completed i.e. appraisal, probation meetings, objective setting.
- Managing absence and regular reporting on this to appropriate manager.
- Taking part in the continuous improvement of the HR service in the business including carrying out project elated tasks
- Periodical auditing on the completeness of HR files and information.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Human Resources, or related area
- 3+ years' of experience working in Human Resources
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated experience in organising, communication on a variety of HR related topics.
- Fluent in the English language both verbally and in writing.
