At ISS, our People & Culture Business Partners are integral to the success and growth of our organisation.

​We are seeking an individual with exceptional stakeholder management skills to join our team.

​As our People & Culture Business Partner, you will partner with senior managers to lead operational strategy, manage and design large organisational changes, and navigate trade union interactions.


Job Description


As a People & Culture Business Partner, you will identify and implement People and Culture solutions to deliver effective people strategies throughout the commercial lifecycle, encompassing win, operate, grow, and keep phases, as well as the annual people cycle.

​You will collaborate with P&C Strategic partners to develop these solutions, deploying and embedding them into relevant business areas through structured project and change management.


​Your role will also involve working closely with leaders and managers, advising them on people practices that foster positive working relationships between the business and its employees.

​This may include managing restructures and applying P&C policies and procedures to ensure a harmonious and productive work environment.


​We are looking for a professional with a proven track record in stakeholder management, organisational change, and operational strategy, with experience in trade union interactions.

Key Responsibilities


  • Execute people and culture strategies and plans within relevant business area
  • Develop, build and test solutions to address P&C gaps in relevant business area
  • Development and delivery of P&C solutions to commercial lifecycle (win, operate, grow and keep)
  • Risk management through mitigation actions and solutions
  • Manage people projects and embed changes throughout the business
  • Complex, escalation or wide scale policy and procedure guidance and coaching, and ER case management, TUPE and/or Union engagement in line with relevant CoEs
  • Employee relations –provides professional advice, guidance and support in line with organisation’s policies, procedures and employment law
  • Attends operational management meetings and P&C Solutions meetings as required
  • Support, develop and coach People & Culture team


Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications


  • Strong HR generalist experience, preferably within the business to business management services sector
  • Stakeholder Management skills
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent and/or CIPD qualified
  • In depth UK employment legislation knowledge, TUPE and Union experience
  • Project and change management
  • Strong network across the business through effective relationship building, particularly managers
