Here at ISS, as a leading Facilities Management (FM) provider have a hugely exciting vacancy on a major corporate banking account for an Engineering Director to lead Technical Delivery against the client's critical estate across EMEA (focusing on Europe, the Middle East and East Asia).


You would be joining at a pivotal part of the contract following a recent increase in geographical scope. The mission of this role is to implement a consistent set of engineering guidelines across the client’s estate which will include corporate head offices and data centres


This will not just test your technical ability, but will draw on your interpersonal skills in forging relationships with high level client and internal stakeholders, from maintenance engineers to technical and none technical directors, all the while working to commercial and contractual requirements


In addition, you will also line manage a small team of senior technical managers.

This is a fantastic, career defining role for a Senior Engineering leader savvy with critical, corporate buildings able to drive EMEA wide engineering technical improvements.


Specific actions will include:

  • Ensure operation of buildings, technical infrastructure, engineering systems and assets, including all designated critical environments, according to agreed SLAs
  • Ensure efficient and effective management, operation and maintenance processes for buildings, technical infrastructure, engineering systems and assets
  • Ensure continuous improvement and optimization of processes and utilities
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and standards
  • Keep asset condition and lifecycle information accurate to facilitate capital investment planning


We need from you:

  • Engineering degree or equivalent; Professional institute membership preferred
  • Knowledge and experience of engineering infrastructure, assets and systems
  • Knowledge of critical environment management and processes
