  • Establish and enforce standard operating procedures for Engineering Services to ensure consistency and efficiency, including Safe Systems of Work and Incident Management.
  • Support accounts in meeting productivity targets in collaboration with account leadership teams across EMEA.
  • Take a leadership role in addressing major service delivery challenges alongside senior account leadership.
  • Assist in sales initiatives, including identifying growth opportunities, estimating costs for non-standard client requests, and contributing to client presentations and sales strategies.
  • Establish and lead an EMEA Engineering Community of Practice with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) as part of the Global Centre of Excellence (COE), sharing best practices globally to foster continuous improvement and knowledge exchange.

Engineering Leadership

  • Develop and manage infrastructure and expertise to support clients and JLL Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) teams in EMEA, particularly in engineering and technical services.
  • Lead engagement with engineering communities within the IFM business, enhancing the visibility of engineering operations and expertise through best practice dissemination and active industry involvement.
  • Guide the strategic integration of the engineering function with Technology, HSSE, Quality & Compliance, and Sourcing & Procurement, ensuring synergy in cross-functional initiatives.
  • Represent JLL engineering at industry forums and conferences, positioning JLL as a thought leader in engineering operations.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to Engineering Managers and Leaders across IFM accounts, ensuring the application of best practices, policies, and procedures in engineering.
  • Promote the development and retention of a high-quality, motivated team.

Client and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build strong relationships with Division Presidents and Workplace Management Leaders across all verticals in IFM and Work Dynamics, as well as their successors.
  • Proactively engage with key client account teams to drive platform programs, best practices, and engineering subject matter support.
  • Establish connections with key client engineering and IFM leadership.
  • Develop and leverage relationships with key supplier partners of JLL engineering services.

Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with established Policies and Standard Operating Procedures for managing Engineering services across all accounts, collaborating with Quality & Compliance and HSSE.
  • Maintain proper engineering documentation and adherence to established standards as part of JLL's client assurance program.
  • Establish a governance process for Safe Systems of Work for all high-risk engineering tasks in collaboration with HSSE.
  • Collaborate with Technology, Quality Control, and HSSE to create a program, playbook, and platform for effectively managing statutory compliance in engineering maintenance.
  • Ensure adherence to Incident Management processes, analyze engineering incidents and near misses, and identify trends to inform risk management strategies.
  • Support account teams as a subject matter expert in managing incidents and ensuring root cause analyses for high-severity engineering incidents.
