**Responsibilities**

Leads efforts to develop strategies and programming that support increased brand recognition, favorability and competitive position across EMEA. Acts as key brand and marketing advisor and central point of contact for the LOBs and regional management within EMEA, ensuring business objectives are met. Driving and motivating our teams by providing clear vision and communication, leadership, coaching, mentoring, instruction, review and oversight of their work. Own and lead overall marketing strategy, ensuring programs and campaign align to that strategy and ladder up to overall firm, enterprise and GBAM marketing strategy. Marketing strategy includes brand strategy, channel strategy (mix of digital and offline), event strategy, sponsorship strategy, segment strategy, content strategy and positioning. Strategy is delivered in annual marketing plans and evaluated regularly to ensure plans align with current market conditions and evolving business strategies. Uncover insights on client segment and underlying client and prospect demographics, personas, buying behaviour, communication routines, decision drivers and triggers, pressures, opportunities, growth potential, international nuances Lead selective, large scale marketing campaigns such as “Road to Differentiation” that serve as the hallmark for engagement Act as point of integration, connecting across the enterprise, to ensure consistency and complete deliverables for executive presentations, SIM initiatives and enterprise-wide activities Gathering and understanding of key learnings and metrics to analyse effectiveness of programs and adjust as necessary Oversight and responsible for budget ownership and stewardship ensuring spend is aligned to business priorities. Includes global forecasting, global reconciliation and global reporting. Ensuring financial activity reporting is 100% accurate. Oversight and responsible for operational components of marketing including legal, compliance, and brand review, vendor management, audit requirements, risk requirements, etc.

Collaboration with stakeholders, events directors and event specialists, business leaders, communications partners, agencies and global partners in development of marketing strategy, tactics and deliverables.

- Must have B2B marketing knowledge and experience - planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating campaigns. Campaigns include messaging, press strategy, advertising, social opportunities, event & sponsorship strategy, thought leadership and employee awareness.
- Must have understanding of the LOBs they support - including knowledge of products, financials, regulatory impacts, revenue drivers, competition, and differentiators in the market.
- Must have understanding of GBAM, LOB and enterprise strategy to ensure marketing strategy supports business and enterprise strategy.
- Must exhibit leadership in all forums. Communicate marketing strategies and plans consistently and appropriately to various levels of organization. Influence others to be engaged in planning and supporting marketing programs.
- Must be able to thrive in a matrixed organization.
