Job Title: Head of Marketing EMEA

About the Job:

OFX is a global provider of online international payment services. We solve the complexity of moving money and enable better decisions. As the Head of Marketing EMEA, you will be accountable for delivering business goals in EMEA via localized marketing strategy and execution. You will influence the evolution of the B2B funnel end to end, including awareness, acquisition, activation, and continued engagement through the customer lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define the annual marketing plan to support the region's revenue growth, meeting commercial targets. Segment the local market, design and implement the acquisition plan driving growth in B2B.
  • Be the marketing owner of EMEA customer and commercial metrics, identifying opportunities for OFX to win, engage, and retain customers.
  • Lead the development and execution of integrated multi-channel B2B regional marketing campaigns, with a focus on UK, Germany, and Ireland.
  • Launch new products and services in the UK targeting businesses, leveraging global Centers of Excellence such as digital acquisition, website, CRM, and brand to ensure messaging and approach meet global requirements, but are effectively localized for the market.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Finance, and Sales Operations to work towards a unified B2B marketing and sales funnel strategy, ensuring the marketing plan supports and drives Sales performance.
  • Influence, build, execute, and measure a new B2B channel partner marketing strategy inclusive of sports sponsorships and accountancy vertical.
  • Represent marketing on the EMEA Senior Leadership Team, considering what's best for the business vs. always taking a function-led approach.
  • As a member of the Global Marketing Leadership Team, carry team culture, maintain a high performing team, and take deep care for employees' professional development.
  • Be accountable for team capability, utilizing external expertise to improve capability when needed, including ownership of agency and supplier relationships.
  • Own the EMEA marketing budget and invest to meet commercial goals.
  • Develop deep knowledge of competitors, industry, customer segments, and pipeline.
  • Lead the EMEA team of 2 marketers, plus virtual team.
  • Act as an ambassador for OFX at all times, promoting the businesses' best interests and OFX values.

Requirements:

  • University degree
  • 10+ years marketing experience
  • Marketing qualifications such as CIM or Marketing Week programmes
  • Depth of experience in B2B marketing and a proven track record in building and delivering B2B acquisition programmes
  • Understands ABM strategies and has a passion for world class B2B marketing
  • Collaborative, cross-functional team player. Happy to work globally, sometimes crossing other time zones
  • Highly commercial, with the ability to understand levers in the business and articulate how marketing inputs deliver customer and revenue outcomes
  • Led a marketing team, working closely with commercial functions
  • Can develop a picture of a market, target segments, and then work with cross functional teams to design and execute value propositions that appeal to those segments
  • Genuine team player who can work with marketing teams globally, including a Head Office team in Sydney, to map requirements and deliver outcomes
  • Works well under pressure, with a high level of motivation in a matrix organization
  • Agility and appetite to jump from strategy to execution to get stuff done when necessary
  • Strong evidence of managing multiple stakeholders (both internally and externally) to deliver effective business outcomes
  • Can develop, present and assess business cases and plans for C-level stakeholders with credibility
  • Energetic, positive, and resilient with the ability to forge ahead with conviction in an organization that is undergoing significant change and disruption
  • Self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills

About OFX:

We're OFXers because we want to make a difference. We see challenges as opportunities and we're not afraid to roll up our sleeves to get stuff done. We're committed to making things easier for our clients, pushing boundaries and continuing to move with the times so that we can continue to inspire confidence every day and through every transaction.
