Role Overview

As a Customer Centre Call Handler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a first-class experience for our customers. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Taking incoming Gas Emergency line calls and ensuring safe and appropriate resolutions.
  • Creating work orders based on customer calls.
  • Demonstrating excellent customer service techniques and full engagement.
  • Building strong relationships with your team and other stakeholders.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement by adhering to standard operating procedures.
Assessment

You’ll attend an assessment center at Pilot Way on either Friday, 7th June, or Thursday, 13th June. The assessment includes a site tour, call listening, and a role-play assessment.

Requirements

We’re looking for individuals who:

Actively listen and communicate confidently. Make accurate decisions under time pressure. Have experience with computer systems. Empathize with customers in various circumstances. Are willing to learn and develop.

Role Details

Start Date: Monday, 1st July Pay Rate: £15.04 per hour Payroll: Weekly (one week in arrears) Contract Type: Temporary assignment via Reed Talent Solutions Shift Pattern: Rotating shifts (7am to 3:30pm, 2:30pm to 11pm, with 3 days off as rest days) Location: Pilot Way, Ansty Park, Coventry, CV7 9JU Onsite/Remote: Full-time onsite role Assignment Duration: 12 months (potential for extension) .
