An Accounts Payable Administrator is needed to manage and process invoices, maintain supplier relationships and manage the payment process in an efficient and timely manner. This role requires excellent attention to detail and the ability to work well within a busy finance team.

Our client is a large London based Local Authority who pride themselves on their commitment to providing excellent services to the local community.

Description

The Accounts Payable Administrator duties will include:

  • Processing invoices accurately and within the set time frame.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Managing the company's payment process.
  • Resolving any invoice queries.
  • Assisting with month end reports.
  • Supporting the wider finance team with administrative tasks.
  • Ensuring all financial data is stored securely and confidentially.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance team.

Profile

The successful Accounts Payable Administrator should have:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally having used Oracle systems.
  • Strong numeracy and financial management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A background within a local authority is preferred but not essential

Job Offer

The temporary Accounts Payable Administrator will pay an hourly rate of £16.50 and allow hybrid working.
