The Opportunity Our client, a growing and established Irish electrical and mechanical engineering firm is currently looking for an experienced Payroll professional to join their company The successful candidate will have prior experience within payroll with strong analytical and interpersonal skills liaising with various departments (i.e. HR, Logistics, Recruitment). Main Tasks Manage full payroll cycle for our client's group of companies, including calculations, processing of subcontractor orders, payment of subcontractors, and processing of new hires and terminations. Conducting analytical reviews of weekly payroll reports and assisting with year-end processes. Preparing/submitting statutory returns to tax authorities. Providing payroll advice and effectively dealing with payroll queries. Maintenance of relevant financial information and up-to-date record keeping ensuring appropriate confidentiality of personal data. Auto-enrolment processes and assistance in the management of pension schemes. Collaborating with relevant departments to ensure alignment on payroll-related matters (i.e. benefits/statutory compliance). Criteria 3 Years experience within Payroll or a similar accounting role. Strong Microsoft Excel skills. Previous experience with Financial Management systems and software. Strong Interpersonal skills. Strong understanding of payroll compliance and processes.
