The Business:

I'm supporting a well established luxury brand in the consumer goods industry in their search for a talented Wholesale Account Manager. The business have gone through exciting growth over the past 5 years with a complete brand reimage, having a great pipeline of NPD coming through and rapid expansion in team size.


Having collaborated with some of the biggest names in the luxury retail/wholesale space they have doubled the size of the brand over the past 2 years with plans to continue that with growing the brand image to become one of the most well known brands in the space.


The Role:

They're looking as they want someone to nurture strategic wholesale partnerships in the UK and identify new commercial opportunities to drive success across the UK and EU.

Responsibilities include:

  • Building Retailer Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with our strategic retail partners to grow our wholesale business in the UK and internationally. Assist the Commercial Director in creating and executing account strategies and sales plans.
  • Managing Wholesale Operations: Oversee core wholesale processes in the UK, ensuring excellence in order management, invoicing, reporting, analysis, and fulfilment. Coordinate seasonal sell-in periods and collaborate with planning teams to manage orders within our OTB budget.
  • Driving Sales: Collaborate with Marketing and Product teams to develop and implement plans to boost sales for each retailer. This includes launching key products, conducting training and roadshows, managing visual merchandising, and deploying branded environments. Be hands-on in creating and delivering these toolkits to our partners.
  • Expanding UK Wholesale: Identify and pursue opportunities to expand our distribution within the UK, including smaller independents and the emerging bags segment.
  • Supporting EU Expansion: Assist the Commercial Director in expanding our wholesale presence in the EU by managing and supporting European wholesale agents and partners.


Requirements:

  • 2-3 years account management experience in Luxury/Retail/Wholesale/DTC/Consumer Goods
  • A proactive, self-starting attitude with the curiosity and independence to drive our strategy.
  • Strong analytical skills and commercial insight, with the ability to analyse sell-through data to gauge performance, uncover growth opportunities, and drive results.
  • Experience with online marketplaces and own-brand retail stores is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, along with a keen attention to detail.
