Account Manager - Wholesale & Discounters
Alexander Steele is recruiting on behalf of a well-known Food & Beverage manufacturer supplying the UK's Retail channels. Our client is one of the fastest growing brands in their sector.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team as an Account Manager taking a lead for the clients Wholesale & Discounter customers. This role will have a focus on developing existing accounts whilst winning new business.
Hybrid Working - 2 / 3 x per week in the Office (London Area)
• £55k - £65k Dependant on experience + Bonus + Benefits
What your tasks are:
- Launching the brands products into new accounts. Working closely with product, category & brand teams to build insight led proposals.
- Identifying and realising opportunities to build distribution points & increase RoS of the brands products.
- Working cross-functionally to develop a differentiated product, pack & promotional marketing strategy for the wholesale & discounter channel.
- Negotiating JBP's to deliver profitable growth.
- Building & maintaining a volume & net sales forecast
- Working closely with the supply chain department to ensure excellent on-shelf availability.
- Analysing sales data & sharing insights / recommendations to the wider team.
Required:
- A minimum of 4 years of experience within sales or account management.
- Experience working with UK Wholesalers.
- A growth mindset – you’ll be ambitious and ready to grow with the business.
- Analytical thinker – you use data to inform your decision making.
- Creative problem solver – you consider multiple angles and ask what you would need to be true to make things happen.
- Amazing communicator – ability to build relationships & influence.
- Commercial acumen – able & comfortable managing a full P&L.
