Role: Sales Lead


About the Role

The Head of Sales is a client acquisition specialist who will lead the charge in identifying and securing new clients for our IT recruitment services. This role requires a seasoned recruiter or sales professional with deep client-facing experience in IT recruitment. Your primary goal will be to connect with businesses, understand their hiring needs, and bring in job opportunities that our growth team will then fulfil.


This role is perfect for someone who thrives on building relationships, developing commercial strategies, and driving revenue growth while leaving the fulfilment of roles to the recruitment team.


Key Responsibilities


Client Acquisition

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with companies looking to hire IT talent globally.
  • Build long-term relationships with clients, becoming a trusted advisor for their IT staffing needs.
  • Focus on businesses seeking solutions for skills shortages or cost-effective global hiring.


Consultative Sales

  • Meet with potential clients to understand their hiring challenges and propose tailored solutions.
  • Highlight the value of OOO’s global IT community as a differentiator in accessing skilled talent.
  • Develop compelling proposals and presentations to secure job opportunities from clients.


Strategic Commercial Leadership

  • Shape and execute the sales strategy for OOO’s recruitment services, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and refine commercial models that drive growth.
  • Monitor industry trends to anticipate client needs and adjust strategies accordingly.


Handover to Growth Team

  • Ensure smooth handover of client job opportunities to the growth team for fulfillment.
  • Act as the key point of contact for clients during the initial stages, ensuring a seamless experience before transitioning operational aspects.


Collaboration and Leadership

  • Partner with marketing and product teams to enhance client engagement and promote our services.
  • Represent OOO at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to drive brand awareness and client acquisition.


Qualifications

  • 5 or more years of proven experience in IT recruitment or sales, with a strong focus on client acquisition.
  • Experience in the following regions: North America, APAC, and EMEA
  • Deep understanding of the IT sector and global recruitment markets.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and negotiation skills.
  • Commercial mindset with experience developing and implementing sales strategies.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of the sales function.
  • Familiarity with recruitment tools, ATS platforms, and CRM systems is a plus.
