Who we are…

Here at Lead Candidate we are committed to supporting developing companies in the pharmaceutical and biotech outsourcing space. We use our expertise to serve businesses by finding the people that will make their growth targets a reality. We work as an embedded talent partner to a select number of companies at any one time, allowing us to devote our time to provide an excellent experience.

Like our customers, we are growing. We are looking for people who share our vision for changing the recruitment landscape for the better, permanently.

We have an office based in Newcastle upon Tyne and offer flexible hybrid working.


What we do…

Our Talent Partners provide an incredible service to our customers, ensuring they receive a consistent, quality experience. Day to day your role will vary based on the nature of live projects, and could include any of the following:

  • Working with our client partners to tell their story
  • Utilising state of the art tech stack to provide incredible shortlists
  • Full search and selection for specific projects
  • Coaching hiring managers to play their role in world-class candidate experiences
  • A chance to compete against our resident tea-making champion, Yasmine


Talent Partners are experts in all things talent attraction and hiring, so these examples are a snapshot of what the role will encompass.

About You…

Lead Candidate is a values-led, politely disruptive, talent acquisition partnering service. We hold our values dear, and we expect you to as well. We are honest, which also means sometimes telling hard truths. We are experts in our field, and we are devoted to our customers, working with only a select few at any one time.


This is an opportunity for you to build a new skill set and provide a valuable service to life saving organisations. It’s OK if you’ve never worked within a company like ours before – we are more than happy to give you the full training that will allow you to grow within the role. This is a truly entry-level opportunity.


You will probably have had some exposure to customers or be interested in a people-facing position. Our customers are people – whether looking to hire or looking to be hired, we don’t differentiate. We’re not demanding that you be a talent acquisition whizz, just that you will relish the opportunity to learn and grow with us as we disrupt the recruitment industry for the better.


We operate exclusively in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology outsourcing space – but that doesn’t mean that you need to. We work with businesses who are improving the lives of patients around the world. If you’re passionate about playing a role in that – we’d love to hear from you.
