We're on the look out to grow our team in #NLCSCumbernauld with contracts available from 20 to 36 hours. We are looking for an for active and person-centred colleagues who really want to make a difference to the people we support lives.

For these roles we will need you to hold a full, manual UK driving licence. Access to a car would be great but this is not essential as many of the people we support have their own vehicles.

The Role

As a Support Practitioner you'll play a crucial role in supporting these individuals with all aspects of daily living, including cooking, personal care, managing personal finances, assisting with medication, attending appointments and supporting managers with care plans and relevant documentation. You will support them individuals with their hobbies and interests which include community involvement, walking, drives in the countryside, going swimming, exercising, listening to music and meeting friends for lunch or dinner along with art classes. It's definitely never a dull day here and no two days are ever the same.

About You

At Cornerstone we don’t recruit on experience and qualifications. We’re more interested in what you as a person will bring to our team We’ll pay you for your training and give you all the practical skills you’ll need to build a career within the Health & Social Care sector. We’ll even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and your yearly SSSC registration fees too

All we’ll need you to bring is;

Full UK driving licence A caring and compassionate attitude The ability to work well in a team Good communication and organisational skills A positive attitude with a willingness to learn A creative drive to improve the lives of the individuals you support Confidence in the use of computers

Shift Patterns

Shift patterns can vary 8 hours per day to 24 hours including a sleepover. Public holidays and weekends would also form part of your rota on a rotational basis. A this is a 24 hour service, don't hesitate to get in touch to see if we have a rota pattern that works for you
