BABY ROOM SENIOR

LEADER OF 5 STAFF IN 0-2s DEPARTMENT

TEMP SENIOR ROLE WITH PRACTITIONER ROLE THEREAFTER.

Duties
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and lessons for babies and young children
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Provide individualized attention and support to meet the needs of each child
- Collaborate with parents and families to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's learning journey
- Monitor and assess children's progress, documenting observations and maintaining records
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play-based learning experiences
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment

**Skills**:

- Leadership qualities and skills such as setting clear expectations and teaching others
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Strong understanding of child development principles and practices
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills to manage classroom materials and documentation
