A fantastic Primary School in the Borough of Merton are looking to recruit an Unqualified SEN Teaching Assistant. The role of Unqualified SEN Teaching Assistant is a full time and long-term role, for a September 2024 start.

As an Unqualified SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be working with Primary School children, with a range of SEN needs, such as Autism / ASD, ADHD, children with SEMH and children with behavioural difficulties. This will be across 3 Early Years classes - Nursery & Reception.

Person Specification - Unqualified SEN Teaching Assistant

  • Must have a good degree from a reputable University
  • Good understanding of SEN is required
  • Experience in a previous role, or personal experience with SEN would be ideal
  • Passionate about supporting children with SEN
  • You must be able to work effectively as part of a team
  • Calm and compassionate nature
