Job Description

Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Job Type: Full-time, Part-time, Long-term, Short-term

Location: South West London

We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to support pupils with special educational needs and behavioural needs in our schools. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and the SEN Co-ordinator to provide individualized support to pupils.

Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils with special educational needs and behavioural needs
  • Work with teachers and the SEN Co-ordinator to develop and implement individualized support plans
  • Provide one-on-one support to pupils in the classroom and during extracurricular activities
  • Assist with lesson planning and preparation
  • Communicate with parents and carers to ensure consistent support for pupils

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with pupils with special educational needs and behavioural needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including mornings, afternoons, and occasional evenings
