We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Finance Business Partner to support our Commercial team at our head office in Leeds.
How will you make an impact?
In this role you will have exposure to management at all levels so being able to communicate effectively, build positive relationships, support and challenge in a constructive manner are key. The role is very integrated within the Commercial function and is a much valued partner to the Commercial team. What will the role look like?
Some of the key responsibilities in this role will include:
- Acting as the key finance business partner and trusted advisor to a specific Sales teams
- Reviewing monthly performance and signing off month end.
- Driving effective performance dialogue and challenge within the Sales teams
- Forecasting and reviewing the Commercial P&Ls
- Driving and preparing sound business cases as required e.g. tenders and costings
- Working closely with the Senior Sales team to maximize our price opportunities in the market
- Managing risk and ensuring we have sound controls e.g. customer agreement accruals
- Helping to drive improvements in DSO and aged debt
- Supporting other members of the Commercial finance team
What do you need to succeed?
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with experience of Finance Business Partnering. With an ability to work under pressure, manage a variety of tasks and meet strict deadlines, you will have a pro-active and independent approach to your work. You will demonstrate good influencing skills and will be able to make sound judgements. Confident in dealing with a range of stakeholders at different levels, you will be able to build positive relationships across the business. Finally you will also have strong Microsoft Office skills and, ideally, experience of working with SAP and BW.
What do you need to succeed?
- Payroll (Excellent knowledge of UK regulations, payroll processing & employment tax including global mobility).
- Employee Relations (Excellent understanding of UK Employment Law)
- Masterdata Management (Good knowledge of Masterdata management)
- HR Admin (Excellent knowledge of delivering HR admin support and how to create a link between a local admin service and a global shared service center)
